This release of Heretofore, our latest offering from our Distillery Series, is a Straight Bourbon finished in French Oak Apera casks. A unique sensory experience distinct in its creation, the French Oak influence unfolds a narrative of taste that distinguishes itself from our previous Heretofore release, finished in American apera casks. Aromas of custard, mint, and toasted hazelnut awaken the palate, followed by subtle but intriguing scents of honey and peach. Each sip brings a complex mix of pepper and fruits against a backdrop of sweet whiskey and flavors of caramel, which fade into a woody heavy finish grounded by hints of tannins.
